About this video
This video is a visual introduction to Anti-Subjectivism, the philosophy of consent developed by Christian G. Moore and Patrick Smith. It runs about 34 minutes (uploaded February 12, 2022, before version 1.1 of the Manifesto) and presents the core ideas of the theory for viewers who prefer watching to reading; the Manifesto is the authoritative statement.
Anti-Subjectivism is a normative ethical theory whose single normative claim is that all ethical interactions must be consensual. The default state of living creatures is the “state of nature” — an amoral environment where might makes right. Consent is the negation of force, and therefore the sole normative ethical rule of the theory. Those who violate consent return to the state of nature by failing to reciprocate it.
